L&H is Recognized as a 2024 Best Place to Work in Maine

September 2024 – This is the fourth year in a row that L&H has applied and been named to the list, after being recognized in 2021, 2022, and 2023.

Lebel & Harriman Retirement Advisors is proud to be recognized as a 2024 Best Place to Work in Maine. The list is compiled each year by the Maine State Council of the Society for Human Resource Management, with the goal of encouraging excellence in employers and recognizing those that have established and consistently fostered outstanding workplace environments.

The organization that manages the ranking program, Best Companies Group, selects the recipients based on information gathered from applicants, including employee benefits, workplace policies and employee responses to a comprehensive satisfaction survey. Participating companies receive an employee feedback report in an effort to help improve their scores and make improvements in their workplace cultures.

There were two parts used to determine the rankings. The first consisted of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices and demographics, worth approximately 25 percent of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience, which consisted of 75 percent of the total. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final rankings.
