
Jennifer L. Breton – 2007

Jennifer partners with many of the firm’s premier retirement plan clients as a fiduciary advisor. She also leads the strategic vision of L&H and is responsible for business development. Jennifer sits on the L&H Leadership team and was named Partner in 2017.
Jennifer provides consulting services to ERISA 401(k) and 403(b) Plan sponsors, working directly with HR and Finance professionals as well as Board members to promote retirement plan excellence at the most reasonable price. She has particular expertise is in the areas of fiduciary training, investment advice, RFP and benchmarking projects.
Jennifer is a Registered Investment Advisor with over 20 years’ experience. She began her advisory career in Maine with The Guardian/Park Avenue Securities and subsequently joined Northeast Bank as a Trust Officer. Shortly thereafter, she moved to their investment division (Northeast Financial Services) and focused on building out their financial planning and 401(k) advisory services.
Jennifer has earned the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor and Accredited Investment Fiduciary designations. She also holds Series 6, Series 63 and 65 Securities registrations, and Life & Health Insurance licenses. She received her undergraduate degree in Electronic Engineering from the Wentworth Institute of Technology.
Jennifer has served on several Boards, including Maine Employee Benefits Council (past President) and Evergreen Credit Union. She has been recognized by the Financial Times as a Top 401(k) Advisor for six consecutive years (2015-2020). She has also been awarded by the National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA) as a Top Women Advisor “All Star” (2015) and “Captain” (2021).
She lives in Yarmouth with her husband, Mike, and enjoys sport fishing, golfing, travel, and time with family and friends.
